Platform Pavilion

Platform is a unique residential development in Donnybrook, 1 hour north of Melbourne. The site features the interconnection of a conversation zone around the Merri Creek, and direct adjacency to the Donnybrook train station.

Working with an existing sales suite transported to the site, CTA aimed to convey the nexus between nature and the city on this site.

The existing sales suite was integrated into a courtyard structure, which captured a microcosm of nature within. This was contrasted by the billboard-like screen to the adjacent highway, which acts like a beacon to passers-by, and symbolises a link to the city.

In a highly competitive market, the pavilion has elevated Platform to the second best seller in the North, punching well above its weight against larger and more heavily funded developments.
