Harris Farm Markets is a high-profile addition to Canberra’s airport retail park. Located on a corner site, it has the opportunity to be a connector, reinforce the precinct, and herald a sense of entry.

Focusing on the user experience, the design creates a compelling urban experience that draws visitors back and takes a community making role amongst its neighbours.

Drawing from the language of the farm shed, the design integrates the Harris Farm’s visual identity and reinforces the brand’s ethos.

The development takes the opportunity to activate the often-transient space by allowing outdoor dining spaces to spill out and activate the facade.
