Perch House
A small but beautifully refined extension to an existing 1990’s terrace house in Flemington.
Located opposite a picturesque park, the client requested a TV room to be built above their existing single storey garage adjoining the R.O.W. lane.
The TV room is complimented with a terrace that optimises the aspect across the park.
Designed to respect the existing building and context, the use of textured brickwork above the retained brickwork wall, creates a human scale to the lane. Painted timber batten screens, to the front and rear facades skillfully integrate the balustrade and garage tilt door into a contemporary reinterpretation of Victorian fretwork.
