2026 AIA Victorian Chapter Awards Shortlist – Commercial

Woodlea is a burgeoning development in the North West of Melbourne. This sales hub is the third in the development and is mooted to become a much-needed veterinary hospital for its ultimate use.

This project aims to create interconnected communities, by curating a series of sensory spaces from the urban scale down to the personal level. The building is composed as 2 pavilions wrapped by a vertical fin screen, and includes a display suite, sales office, Woodlea office, café and veterinary clinic, composed around a central courtyard.

The display suite pavilion is designed to convert to a veterinary hospital after the display suite closes, providing a key community legacy.
