41 A’ Beckett Tower
In the last few years dramatic changes have occurred to the Melbourne’s Northern CBD precinct. Multiple towers, and an influx of overseas students has created a buzzing precinct with a largely Asian demographic, redolent at times of a Bladerunner-esque atmosphere.
Committed to enhancing the character of key locales within Melbourne, Longriver engaged us to create a 8 storey building on a tight 280sqm lot that would activate the street throughout the day and night, providing a magnetic destination for the youthful and futuristic audience.
With a mixture of retail, hospitality and entertainment, this proposal looks to create a unique typology for Melbourne; one that is highly calibrated to the DNA of this newly emerging precinct.
