Wolfdene is a young, innovative and visionary development company establishing new housing communities in the outer suburbs. Rather than merely build volume housing, their goal is to create a unique sense of place and build integrated communities.

CTA collaborated closely with Wolfdene, Oculus Landscape Architects and Clear Graphic Design to develop an activation pavilion incorporating an experience suite, cafe, and outdoor courtyard, that would seek to provide the general public and potential buyers with a glimpse of the future Brompton community.

The 188m² pavilion is designed as an 'amplifier of the landscape'. Wrapped around a courtyard, the pavilion serves to heighten the awareness of the landscape by selective framing of views. Conceived as a series of units within a wrapping screen, the pavilion has a series of internal courtyards that draw nature into the interiors.

Within the Experience Suite, screens of timber fins provide intimate and atmospheric spaces akin to entering a dappled forest grove, whilst framing views to the landscape.
This exciting pavilion opened in November 2014. The integrated café, ‘Love Thy’, is scheduled to open early in 2015, and will cement the pavilion as a focal point for the local community events and activities and a catalyst for the development that follows.
